#85: A Tremendous Life
Today, everything will be different
I start my day, week, quarter, and a year full of hopeful determination. Today, everything will be different: I will get to that which matters, I will become better, I will start calling my parents and stop eating sugar, I will stop my self-sabotage and I will resolve my problems. Most importantly, today, I will finally start living that tremendous life I was born to live.
Any day, week, quarter, and year elapse just as fast as the next one arrives. They elapse before I barely get to fixing burning problems. As for my tremendous life, I postpone it till later, surely better times.
My unfulfilled plans, desires, aspirations, intentions, and promises noiselessly prove how little time I actually have. Yet I don’t embrace the awful finiteness of my time. I don’t want to realize this painful truth as it would require a radical transformation on my side. So
