#111: What I am not seeing
I am walking down the street
I am walking down the street and I see different buildings, people, and scenarios. Mentally, that local compilation builds my idea of what the world must be like. I now think that all people are driven by X, make their money through Y, and aspire to have Z.
If I go to another place, I see that the buildings, people, and scenarios are all different. My picture of the world is challenged, for now, I see that X, Y, and Z are not the only ways.
If I am lucky, I will find myself in circumstances that bolster my worldview. Yet, unless I intentionally go to newness, I will continue to see a Facebook-like feed of the same old street. Just as I am seeing a certain picture, I am also NOT SEEING all the other pictures. So as I am walking down the street, I wonder:
